I’m on fire here 🙂
It is only the sixth day I am into the gratitude challenge but already I am feeling the overwhelmingly positive impact of how much making an attitude of gratitude the integral parts of my days can bring for me.
For those of you who haven’t yet got as much out of it as I had, do not despair. It will come.
My tips for you are: Do not try to do approach this challenge and make it as if it is some kind of a job where you may get punished if you did not do it well. The most important thing is to actually enjoy the sense of liberating it grants you as you remember to be thankful no matter how much weight you may seem to be feeling.
Some of you may want to believe that you are the most unfortunate person in the world. Okay, that’s exaggerating. You may think that you are the most unfortunate person in your city. Still an over-exaggeration? Do you really really believe that you are the most unfortunate person in your neighbourhood? Well, think again! Here are my thoughts: I believe that you had never, was not, is not, and will never be the most unfortunate person ever. And you cannot even argue with that. Why do you even want to argue whether you are the unhappiest person anyway? Is it really that much fun trying to show the world how unfortunate and how miserable your life is?
In fact, I am suggesting an entirely new approach to you today. Begin to think that you are the most fortunate person in the world today. While you are at it, begin to find someone to tell how fortunate and how grateful you are about your life today. That is how big the impact of gratitude can be in you.
Today, I am extremely grateful that:
1. I am getting God’s favor everyday helping me to achieve many things in my daily activities.
2. I am engaged to the best girlfriend in the world.
3. I can write this blogpost to you and help you to feel better about yourself and your life =)
